| MerseyMoot In September seven Rangers from 2nd Gatley Guides and Rangers went to MerseyMoot for the first time – a festival type camp for around 1000 Explorer Scouts, Rangers and Young Leaders. The daytime was filled with various activities and crafts including axe throwing (everyone’s favourite), canoeing, tree climbing, tie dying, printing and much much more, with live music and silent discos at night. Great to have tea and toast at the camp cafe at 11pm and carry on dancing!! Both the leaders and the Rangers had an absolute ball and are all going again next year! Thanks must go to Marple Rangers and Explorer Scouts who fed us after a cooking mishap on the Saturday night! Mersey Moot. The Merseyside Scout & Guide social gathering of the year. |
