Recycling for Greater Manchester

We’ve been awarded a grant from Recycling for Greater Manchester for a recycling based project. We’re looking to collect items to help us deliver some upcycling and art workshops. Watch this space for dates! if you have any of the below items, you can drop them at Bramhall Green Hut or at the County Office in Cheadle Hulme. Items need to be clean where appropriate.

  • Plastic bottle tops
  • Metal bottle caps
  • Wooden pallets
  • Cotton t-shirts
  • Paint brushes
  • CDs
  • Sandpaper
  • Screws
  • Nails
  • Wool
  • Material/old polyester tents
  • Paint or varnish of any kind
  • Standard baked beans size cans
  • Wooden stools/chairs/small tables

Craft Swap: We are also looking for any craft items you may have lurking in the back of unit cupboards.

We’ve now completed our launch events, helping leaders to get to grips with the project and take back many ideas to their units. Here are some pictures of what they created!
