March 2022: 6 boxes full of bras sent for recycling!

March 2022 update: County Commissioner Tracey has boxed up the bras donated so far. A whopping 6 boxes full of over 1000 donated bras have been sent off.

We’re supporting Against Breast Cancer’s initiative to recycle your old bras. The bras help to support small businesses in Africa. Together with our textile recycling partners, their textile recovery project prevents the bras going to landfill and giving them a new lease of life in developing countries. For every tonne of bras collected, Against Breast Cancer receives £700 to fund their research.
